Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting with all day-to-day accounting operations and supervise a team of staff members including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration.

The Opportunity:

• Prepare and review the monthly close process to produce timely, accurate, and valid financial information.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting reconciliations, analysis and workpapers.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Review accounting procedures to recommend and implement process improvements
• Assist with external audits and tax accountants, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documents.
• Mentor team members through leadership and training objectives.
• Provide support to the payroll function and act as a backup as the payroll processor when needed.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA and CPA preferred
• 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in financial management
• Experience in project management and new process implementation
• Experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager running business operations
• Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software is preferred but not required
