Patient Services Representative

Department: Pre-Bill
Location:

The Patient Service Representative will focus on the processing and resolution of motor vehicle and other accident claims. Our Representatives work independently and as part of a team comprised of both fellow Knowtion Health coworkers and the Client’s staff. Knowtion Health Patient Service Representatives will need outstanding communication skills, strong computer skills and the ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity:

  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with…
    • Our clients, acting as a liaison between the hospital and Knowtion Health
    • Maintain professional relationships and effective communication with leaders across departments.
  • Read and respond to all e-mails and correspondence received in a timely manner
  • Review medical records to discover potential liability and determine third-party billing responsibility, in accordance with HIPPA protocols.
  • Verify and fulfill any attorney requests that are received
  • Perform daily billing tasks in the client's system, ensuring accurate account processing, notation, and return

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Healthcare claims experience or insurance background with Medicare preferred
  • Experience with EPIC software preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
