The Compliance Analyst assists in ensuring that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies by performing a variety of professional administrative tasks in support of the organization's compliance function and working closely with various departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

The Opportunity:
- Supports the department’s compliance activities pursuant to the seven elements for effective compliance (e.g. drafting of policies and procedures, investigations, process improvements, etc.)
- Collects and maintains compliance-related data or records that are accurate, complete, and fulfill legal requirements
- Documents activities or processes that are meant to track or ensure compliance of organizational processes or functions
- Develops, implements, and maintains compliance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and contractual requirements
- Manages the HIPAA privacy incident investigation process; reviews and responds to general HIPAA inquiries
- Participates in internal and third-party auditing activities (e.g., HIPAA risk assessments, SOC 2, etc.)
What you bring:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Experience with compliance audits and regulatory reporting is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Professional certifications such as Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) are a plus
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
