The Opportunity:

  • Reviews, designs, and implements processes surrounding, third party payer billing, and compliance, to ensure that the revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized
  • Ensures efficient and effective operations by consistently reviewing remote operations and productivity against company goals and objectives
  • Meets regularly with management to discuss successes, issues, reoccurring problems, and action plans to improve and address concerns
  • Creates and reviews monthly and annual status reports addressing key performance indicators, as well as plans for next period; monitors revenue cycle’s overall financial performance
  • Tracks numerous metrics related to the patient engagement cycle including billing turnaround times to develop sound revenue cycle analysis and reporting
  • Keeps abreast of all federal, state and third-party payer rules and regulations; apprises staff
  • Maintains billing practices consistent with all payer guidelines and reimbursement rules and regulations

What you bring:

  • 10 years of experience which must include 7 years of progressive responsibility in a leadership role focused on professional healthcare revenue cycle, preferably over a large group practice, with proven key performance results
  • Leadership experience in business process optimization, including implementation of solutions that enhance operational effectiveness
  • Bachelor’s degree required (master's degree preferred)
