The Patient Service Representative will focus on the processing and resolution of motor vehicle and other accident claims. Our Representatives work independently and as part of a team comprised of both fellow Knowtion Health coworkers and the Client’s staff.   • Our clients, acting as a liaison between the hospital and Knowtion Health
  • Hospital related physician offices, ensuring open and mutual communication
  • Maintain professional relationships and effective communication with leaders across departments.
• Read and respond to all e-mails and correspondence received in a timely manner
• Perform daily billing tasks in the client's system, ensuring accurate account processing and return, including reviewing EOBs to apply necessary adjustments
• Travel occasionally to perform Field Visits, which includes…
  • Visiting patient homes during evening and weekend hours
  • Preparing and delivering information packets to patient homes
  • Explaining the claim process to patients and obtaining the necessary information from them to move said claims forward
  • Planning the most efficient and economical travel routes to multiple patient homes
  • Tracking time spent on Field Visits and accurately completing expense reports

What you bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• Healthcare claims experience or insurance background required
• Experience with EPIC software preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel occasionally when needed
