A Team Leader II, Billing, is intended to provide direction on inventory and client-specific priorities to team members by analyzing the existing inventory and ensuring Knowtion Health is meeting defined goals, maintaining, and updating client protocols, providing subject matter expertise to team members, assisting with the closure of accounts and/or client specific projects as needed, and helping with quality assurance through periodic account auditing.

The Opportunity:
- Provides direction on accounts and inventory to team members, daily
- Monitors inventory backlog, reviews reports (timely filing, aging, other) to ensure compliance with client protocols
- Maintains updated access to multiple client systems related to account work
- Reviews and bills accounts based on standard operating procedure for each client
- Provides clear direction to team members for maintaining client specific protocols and procedures
- Conducts one on one meetings, monthly to provide coaching and mentoring to team members
- Develops and implements strategies to enhance team performance and address areas for improvement.
- Demonstrates proficiency with billing commercial, governmental, and TPL payers, client systems and databases as necessary to help direct team members in the billing and resolving of accounts
- Assists in training both new and existing employees, which may include contributing specific training material
What you bring:
- 2 years of management experience supervising 4 or more direct reports preferred
- 7+ years of facility billing experience
- An aptitude for leadership
- An understanding of debt collection rules and regulations
- Adherence to HIPAA requirements
- Advanced computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of documents such as contracts, claims, patient medical records, Inpatient/Outpatient discharge summaries and reports, instructions, policies, and procedures in written (English) and diagram form
