The Manager, Data Stewardship leads a team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of hospital partner data supporting revenue cycle operations. This hands-on role oversees daily data monitoring, issue resolution, and execution of data governance processes. The Manager collaborates with internal teams and hospital partners to ensure reliable data flow across systems, enabling efficient resolution of billing issues such as coordination of benefits, claim denials, low balances, and complex claims.

The Opportunity:

• Manage and support a small team of Data Stewards (typically 2–5 direct reports).
• Provide day-to-day direction, workload prioritization, and hands-on support for data-related issues.
• Coach team members and support skill development in data quality and revenue cycle processes.
• Monitor team performance against defined service levels and quality expectations.
• Oversee daily monitoring and validation of hospital data feeds for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Coordinate data transfers including file integration, secure transmissions, and API-based integrations.
• Support the integration of data into Lakehouse and downstream systems by working closely with IT and data engineering.

What you bring:

• 4–6 years of experience in data stewardship, data quality, or revenue cycle operations (healthcare preferred).
• 1–3 years of people leadership or team lead experience.
• Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes (billing, claims, denials, COB).
• Familiarity with data integration processes and data environments (ETL, warehouse/Lakehouse concepts).
