The Counsel provides legal and compliance support in the areas of client contracting, vendor management, HIPAA privacy and security issues, general operational matters, and other related functions.

The Opportunity:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing (any US jurisdiction) preferred.
  • 3–7 years of legal experience, with meaningful exposure to healthcare, health IT, or RCM strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on contract drafting and negotiation experience — you can redline a BAA without a template and explain why each clause matters.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH, including privacy and security rule requirements.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks and OIG guidance.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of legal experience at a law firm or in an in-house role preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with healthcare legal and compliance matters.
